ACT Black 2.0m U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors

ACT Black 2.0m U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors | A compact cable for network connections

ACT Black 2.0m U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors is a 2-metre CAT6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors. It’s for anyone who needs a short cable run between equipment with matching RJ45 connections. The stated length makes it a practical option when the two connection points are close together, such as on a desk or in a compact setup. Its black finish may also suit a space where you’d rather keep the cable visually discreet. The title identifies it as U/UTP, so this is the unshielded type. Keep the intended run in mind: a cable that reaches on paper can feel tight once it follows the route around a desk or behind equipment. This is a straightforward cable choice, but measuring the actual path first is worthwhile.

Plan the cable run

Before choosing a patch cable, trace the route it needs to take rather than judging the gap between the two devices. A cable may need to travel around a desk edge, follow a wall or drop behind a unit. Those turns use some of the available length, and a little slack can make connections easier to reach later. Think, too, about where the connected equipment sits: a short run keeps things close, but it won’t suit a route that needs extra distance. This cable’s length is fixed, so a quick tape-measure check can help you decide if it fits your setup. It’s a small detail, though it can save you from ending up with a cable that has to be pulled taut. The RJ45 ends are the key detail to match to the ports you plan to connect; the product name gives that connector type, without naming a particular device or system.
