ACT DVI-D Dual Link Cable Male - Male 1.50m

ACT DVI-D Dual Link Cable Male - Male 1.50m | A direct link between DVI-D ports

Your setup gets a direct digital video connection between two DVI-D ports, with 1.50m of cable between them. The ACT DVI-D Dual Link Cable has a male connector at each end, so it suits a straightforward connection where both devices have a matching DVI-D socket. It’s a specific cable, not a bundle of adapters: the connector type, ends and length are clear, which makes it easier to compare with the connections in your setup. The 1.50m length gives you a defined reach when placing the connected equipment. At a desk or workstation, measure the route the cable will take, rather than only the gap between the devices. That gives a better sense of whether it’ll reach without putting strain on the connections. Dual Link is part of the cable’s DVI-D designation, so it’s relevant when that’s the connection format your equipment calls for. Both ends are male. If those details match the ports and layout you’re working with, this cable keeps the connection simple.

Check the route

Before settling on a cable length, consider where the devices sit and how the cable needs to pass between them. A route around the back of a desk, for example, may be longer than the straight-line distance between the two sockets. With 1.50m to work with, you can compare the cable’s stated length against that route and decide whether it suits your placement. Also match the connector ends to the sockets at both devices: this cable has male DVI-D connectors on both ends. Those are the practical details that determine whether it fits your intended connection; there’s no need to rely on assumptions about adapters or other connector types.
