ACT Foldable Laptop Stand 7 Positions Height Adjustable ACT Essentials
ACT Foldable Laptop Stand 7 Positions Height Adjustable ACT Essentials | Set your laptop at a more comfortable height
You’re working at a desk and find yourself looking down at your laptop screen for hours. The ACT Foldable Laptop Stand gives you a way to raise and reposition your laptop, making it easier to set up a working view that suits your desk and the task in front of you. It’s a straightforward option for home working, a study space or a shared desk where you don’t want a permanent setup. The stand is adjustable, so you can change the laptop’s position rather than leaving it flat on the desk. It’s also foldable, which makes it practical when you need to clear your work area or put the stand away. This ACT Essentials model is listed as a tripod accessory, but its stated purpose is as a laptop stand.
A flexible place in your workspace
Use it to raise your screen for reading documents, joining a video call or following a recipe while you work at the kitchen table. It can also help make a temporary laptop setup feel more considered without taking over the room when you’re finished. For longer typing sessions, think about the position of your hands as well as your screen; raising a laptop changes both the screen and keyboard position. This stand is most useful when you want a simple way to adjust your laptop’s height, rather than a dedicated workstation with a fixed layout.
Specialist Note
The folding construction means you can clear the stand from your desk when the laptop is put away, which is handy in a shared or compact workspace. I’d consider this for someone who moves between a home desk and a dining table, or who wants a higher screen position for video calls. Its seven height positions give you set steps to choose from; you can adjust the screen position, though you won’t get a continuous fine adjustment between those steps. For longer stretches of typing, I’d pair the raised laptop with a separate keyboard so your hands aren’t lifted along with the screen. It’s a simple stand, best suited to changing your laptop’s position without building a larger desk setup.
