ACT USB 3.0 10GBPS 60W USB Type-C Cable 3 Meters

ACT USB 3.0 10GBPS 60W USB Type-C Cable 3 Meters | More reach for data and power

The defining choice here is the 3-metre length: it gives you more room to place connected equipment than a short cable does. That’s the practical reason to choose this ACT USB Type-C cable when your devices or workspace aren’t close together. It’s specified for data transfer at 10Gbps and power delivery up to 60W, so it’s designed to handle both jobs through a single cable. The Type-C format makes it relevant wherever your connection calls for USB Type-C; the title doesn’t identify particular devices, so I wouldn’t assume it suits every USB-C setup. The useful detail is the combination of extra reach with stated data and power figures. It’s a straightforward cable, rather than an accessory with a long list of extras. If you need a cable for a longer route across a desk, the three-metre length is the point to weigh first.

Choosing the length

Three metres can help when a nearby port isn’t within easy reach, or when you want some flexibility in where connected equipment sits. That extra distance is handy, but it does mean more cable to manage than with a shorter lead. Think about the route it needs to take and where you’ll keep the slack; that’s a simple way to judge whether this length suits your setup. The stated 10Gbps data rate and 60W power rating give you clear figures to compare with what you need. Keep in mind that a cable’s stated capability doesn’t, by itself, tell you what a connected device can do. This is a practical pick when the Type-C connection, rated data speed, power figure and length all match your requirements.
