Allocacoc PowerCube Extended USB Grey 3m Cable (FR)

Allocacoc PowerCube Extended USB Grey 3m Cable (FR) | Place power within reach

Usually, a power block has to sit close to the wall outlet, which can leave it awkwardly placed for the devices around it. The Allocacoc PowerCube Extended USB gives you more choice about where the unit sits: its 3-metre cable lets you position it further from the outlet, while keeping the cable run in mind. It’s a straightforward option for a desk, work area or another spot where the outlet isn’t right beside the place you need power. USB is part of this model, so it may suit a setup where USB connections are also useful. The honest trade-off is that a longer cable still needs a sensible route; measure the path you have in mind rather than relying on a straight-line estimate. This version is grey and marked FR in the product name.

Choosing where to use it

Think about the distance from the wall outlet to the intended position, then allow for the route the cable will actually take around furniture or along a wall. A 3-metre cable gives you room to place the unit away from the outlet, but the layout of the room determines how much of that length is available for positioning. It’s also worth deciding where the unit will sit before routing the cable, so it doesn’t end up across a walkway or pulled tight around a corner. The PowerCube name and USB designation identify the product, but the information here doesn’t specify outlet numbers or USB details, so don’t base a setup decision on assumptions about those. Choose it for the cable reach and the USB inclusion that are stated for this model.
