B&W Outdoor.cases Type 6700 Black / Plukschuim
B&W Outdoor.cases Type 6700 Black / Plukschuim | A hard case with foam you can shape
Without a dedicated case, camera gear can travel loose in a bag or storage box, where it’s harder to keep it arranged and protected. The B&W Outdoor.cases Type 6700 is a black hard case for photographers who need a more secure place to transport or store their equipment. Its pick-and-pluck foam lets you shape the interior around the gear you want to carry, rather than leaving everything to shift around in an open space. That makes it especially useful for a kit that has a regular set-up and needs protection from knocks, dust or rain during transport and storage. It’s also a practical option for keeping equipment together between shoots. The case’s purpose is straightforward: give your gear a shaped place to sit inside a hard case. If you often change what you carry, allow time to adjust the foam to suit the new arrangement.
Specialist Note
At pack-down, I’d make the Type 6700 the dedicated case for a camera kit that needs to stay organised between jobs. The hard-case format is reassuring when equipment has to travel alongside other items, while the pick-and-pluck foam lets you form spaces around the pieces you’ve chosen to carry. I’d set it up for a regular camera-and-accessory arrangement, then keep that kit together for storage or transport where dust, rain or knocks are a concern. It suits photographers who prefer a defined layout to loose gear in a general bag. One honest trade-off: if your kit changes often, you may need to reshape the foam rather than simply swap items in and out.
