B&W Type 7300 Empty Black
B&W Type 7300 Empty Black | Hard-case protection for transport and storage
Gear carried in an ordinary bag can be exposed to knocks, dust and rain; the B&W Type 7300 Empty Black is a hard case for situations where those are real concerns. It suits photographers and other kit owners who need to transport or store equipment with more protection than a soft bag is intended to provide. The case is supplied empty, so you’re choosing the case itself rather than buying it with equipment inside. Its purpose is straightforward: keep your gear in a hard case while it’s being moved or put away. That makes it a sensible option for equipment that needs more careful handling between uses, or for storage in places where dust or damp conditions may be a concern. It’s a practical, purpose-led purchase rather than an everyday carry bag; choose it when protection during transport and storage matters more than having a bag ready to wear on your shoulder.
Specialist Note
The honest limitation is that the Type 7300 arrives empty, so you’ll need to decide what goes in it; its value is the hard-case format for gear that needs protection in storage or transit. I’d consider it when equipment is being moved between locations or put away somewhere dust or rain could be a concern. The black finish keeps the look simple and discreet. As a specialist, I’d point this out to anyone who wants a dedicated case rather than a bag for carrying kit: it’s a focused option for transport and storage, not a ready-packed solution.
