Caruba HDMI | HDMI - Micro HDMI | 1.5 Meter | A direct link between two HDMI formats

When you need to connect equipment with a full-size HDMI socket to equipment with a Micro HDMI socket, this Caruba cable gives you a direct link between the two. It’s a specific cable for a specific pairing: HDMI at one end, Micro HDMI at the other, with 1.5 metres of cable between them. That makes it suited to a setup where those are the ports you need to join and the equipment can sit fairly close together. The length is useful for a compact arrangement, but it won’t cover a wide gap between devices. Before routing it, consider where both pieces of equipment will sit and how the cable will run between them. There’s no extra complication to describe here; the key is matching the two connector formats and having enough reach for your setup.

Planning the connection

It’s worth thinking about the cable path as well as the ports. A 1.5-metre lead gives you some room to position connected equipment, but the actual reach depends on the route you take between the sockets. Leave enough slack for the cable to meet each port without pulling at the plugs, and keep the path clear of anything that could pinch it. If your setup calls for HDMI at one end and Micro HDMI at the other, the connector pairing is the main detail to look for. The length is the other practical point: a short, tidy route is where this cable makes sense. For a longer run, the listed length may not be enough.
