Cokin EVO Bellows P Serie
Cokin EVO Bellows P Serie | Keep stray light off your filter setup
Keep stray light from hitting the front of your lens while working with a Cokin P Series filter setup. The Cokin EVO Bellows P Serie is a bellows accessory for the P Series, suited to photographers who want more control over light around their filter arrangement. Its bellows form gives you a physical shade in front of the lens, helping you manage side light when composing a scene. That can be useful for landscapes with bright light just outside the frame, or when a strong light source risks washing out contrast. The P Series designation makes this a specialised addition rather than a general-purpose filter accessory: it belongs in a Cokin P Series setup. If you already work with that system and want to shape how light reaches the lens, this is the product to consider. Its purpose is focused, and that’s where it makes sense.
Specialist Note
The concertina shape is the detail that matters here: it creates a flexible shade between the lens and light coming from the side. I’d consider it when you’re framing a landscape with the sun just outside the picture, or when a bright lamp is causing unwanted flare; position your framing so the bellows helps shield the lens from that light. The P Serie name is important too: this is for a Cokin P Series filter setup, so it suits someone already working within that system. It’s a focused accessory, not a substitute for choosing the right filter, but it can help you manage stray light around the setup.
