Catch a fast-moving ride, a match or a winding trail in a single 360° view, with the option to choose your framing later. The DJI Osmo 360 II Adventure Combo records native 8K/60fps panoramic video through two fisheye lenses, each with an image area equivalent to a 1-inch CMOS sensor. That high-resolution, all-around view is useful when the action moves quickly or you’d rather stay focused on the moment than aim a camera at it. For sports, capture the full scene and reframe the footage afterwards; for travel, the included 1.2-metre invisible selfie stick keeps the camera out of the 360° picture when it’s lined up with the camera. It’s also well suited to vlogging: the camera can connect directly to two compatible DJI Mic transmitters, without a separate receiver. The Adventure Combo adds three 2150mAh batteries and a case that charges them in sequence, so you have extra power for a long day out. With 360° video, high-resolution reframing and those useful travel accessories together, this is a focused kit for action, sport and point-of-view footage.
What it does well
- Native 8K/60fps 360° video: The 7680 × 3840 panoramic recording captures movement at a high frame rate while preserving detail for reframing in post-production.
- 4K/240fps slow motion: Record fast action in panoramic mode and play it back at up to 8× slower speed directly from the camera.
- f/1.9 aperture and AI SuperNight 2.0: These features are intended to support night recording; DJI recommends at least 10 lux for low-light use.
- RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady: Stabilisation options help steady action footage and keep the horizon level as the camera moves.
- IP68-rated body: The camera is rated for water resistance to 10 metres without a housing. DJI advises using a separate waterproof case for underwater filming, where the curved lenses can distort the image.
- Replaceable outer lenses: If an outer lens is damaged, it can be replaced with the separately available Osmo 360 II Lens Replacement Kit.
Size and control
The camera measures 61 × 36.3 × 81mm and weighs 183g, a compact format for mounting on the included selfie stick. Gesture control works at up to 2 metres, while voice control is specified for up to 1 metre in a quiet setting. The dual-direction quick-release mount also has a 1/4-inch thread for attaching compatible camera gear.
Specialist Note
The Osmo 360 II records the whole scene at once, so you don’t have to pick a single direction before the action starts. I’d recommend it for cyclists, skiers and travellers who want footage they can reframe afterwards. For a moving point-of-view clip, the stabilisation options are useful; for a travel selfie, keep the included 1.2m stick and camera in a straight line and the stick disappears from the 360° view. The f/1.9 aperture is a useful detail for evening scenes, though the recommended minimum of 10 lux is a sensible guide for low-light recording. One important distinction: its 10m water resistance doesn’t make it the right tool for underwater video, where refraction through the lenses can distort the image. Pair it with the dedicated waterproof case for that job.
