DZOFILM Dzo Film Shims Set For Koop Filter
DZOFILM Dzo Film Shims Set For Koop Filter | Shims for Koop Filter
DZOFILM Dzo Film Shims Set For Koop Filter is a set of shims made for the Koop Filter. It’s intended for cinematographers and camera teams who use that filter and need its matching adjustment pieces close at hand. Shims are used to make small fit adjustments, so this set belongs in a workflow where careful setup matters more than adding another imaging effect. Its value is specific: it’s named for the Koop Filter, rather than presented as a general-purpose filter accessory. If you’re assembling or maintaining a Koop Filter setup, having the corresponding shims together can make it easier to keep the adjustment parts associated with the filter they’re intended for. There’s no reason to assume it fits other equipment; the stated pairing is the Koop Filter. For a specialist kit built around that filter, this is a focused accessory, not a broad replacement-parts assortment.
Specialist Note
For filmmakers building a rig around the Koop Filter, this set is a focused bit of kit to keep with that filter. The word “shims” matters: these are adjustment pieces, not another filter or an image effect, so think of them when setting up or servicing the filter assembly. The product title names the Koop Filter specifically, which gives you a clear pairing to work from; I’d keep the set labelled with that filter rather than mix it into a general hardware pouch. It’s a practical purchase for a crew that already uses the Koop Filter. I wouldn’t treat it as a universal shim set.
