Eminent Grey 2 Meter U/UTP CaT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors
Eminent Grey 2 Meter U/UTP CaT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors | A short, clearly specified network link
Eminent Grey 2 Meter U/UTP CaT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors is a 2-meter patch cable with RJ45 connectors at both ends. It’s intended for people setting up a wired connection who need a cable of a defined length, rather than a long run. The title identifies it as Cat6 and U/UTP, so you can distinguish it from cables with other category or construction labels when choosing parts for a setup. Its grey finish may also help you tell it apart from other cables in a busy workspace. The 2-meter length is the most useful detail to check against your actual route: it gives you a concrete starting point for connecting two nearby points without choosing a longer cable by default. This is a straightforward option when those details match what your setup calls for. Measure the route first; a cable that’s just a little too short can be more frustrating than one that leaves some spare length.
Choosing the right length
Before adding a patch cable to your setup, trace the path it needs to follow from one connection point to the other. Include the route around furniture or equipment, rather than measuring only the straight-line distance between the endpoints. With this cable, the stated length is 2 meters, so compare that figure with your planned path and allow room for the way the cable will sit. A tidy, relaxed route is generally easier to manage than one pulled tight across a desk or around a corner. If the connection points are farther apart than the available length, this isn’t the right length for that route. If they’re close by, the stated measurement helps you make the choice without guessing. The title also gives you the connector and cable labels to compare with the requirements of your setup.
