Epson LC-3WBN Standard Black On White Tape 9mm

Epson LC-3WBN Standard Black On White Tape 9mm | Clear, simple labels

Labels are easier to scan at a glance when the lettering is black against a white background. The Epson LC-3WBN is a standard tape for printing that kind of label, in a 9mm width. It suits anyone who wants a straightforward format for adding printed names or other short information to items and keeping them identifiable in day-to-day use. The colour and width are the useful details to focus on here: the tape is black on white, and the strip is 9mm wide. That gives you a clear starting point when matching a tape to the label layout you have in mind. There’s no need to make this more complicated than it is; it’s a simple monochrome tape, best suited to labels where a plain, direct presentation does the job.

Choosing a label format

Before settling on a tape, think about what the finished label needs to communicate. A short name or identifier has different space needs from a longer line of text, so the intended wording is a sensible place to start. Consider where you’ll read the label, too: a consistent, uncomplicated style can make a group of labelled items easier to sort through. This tape gives you a black-and-white look rather than a coloured label, which keeps the appearance restrained. The honest limitation is that a 9mm format gives you a specific width to work with; it won’t suit every label design or every amount of text. If that width and the plain colour scheme fit your task, the product name makes the choice easy to identify.
