Falcon Eyes Diffuse Cloth For Ø180cm FER-OB18

Falcon Eyes Diffuse Cloth For Ø180cm FER-OB18 | White diffusion for your softbox

The defining design decision is a white diffuse cloth sized for the Ø180cm FER-OB18. Its purpose is to spread the light from that softbox, giving photographers a straightforward way to work with diffused light. If you use this specific 180cm model for portraits, product photography or other studio work, this is the cloth to consider for that setup. The product name makes the intended pairing clear: FER-OB18, Ø180cm. That specificity is useful when you’re choosing an accessory for equipment you already use; it also means this isn’t a general-purpose cloth for any modifier. The colour is white. It’s a simple, focused accessory, so the first thing to check is whether the FER-OB18 is the softbox in your lighting setup.

Working with diffusion

Diffusion changes how light reaches your subject by spreading it, rather than leaving it as a direct, concentrated source. In practice, the result depends on the light, its position and the scene, so a cloth alone can’t guarantee a particular look. It gives you a way to shape the light from the named softbox without adding another light source. That can be useful when you want to work with softer-looking illumination in a controlled setup, or when you’re adjusting the character of light for a subject. Keep the product’s stated size and model in mind when selecting it: the cloth is identified for the Ø180cm FER-OB18, not as a universal diffuser. If that’s the softbox you have, the product name gives you a clear match to work from.
