Falcon Eyes Flitsparaplu UR-48WB White/Black 122cm
Falcon Eyes Flitsparaplu UR-48WB White/Black 122cm | Give flash a broader spread
Direct flash can make a portrait feel stark, with light concentrated on the subject and little room to shape its spread. The Falcon Eyes UR-48WB is a flash umbrella that gives you a larger surface to work with, helping spread light more broadly across a subject. Its 122cm size is well suited to portraits and other setups where you want the light to cover more than a small spot. The white/black version adds a simple colour choice when you’re matching or organising your lighting gear. Place the umbrella close to a single person for broad, even coverage; move it farther away when you need the light to reach a wider area. It’s a straightforward option for home portrait setups, small studios and occasional flash work. Keep in mind that an umbrella of this size needs space around it, so it’s less convenient in a cramped room.
Specialist Note
The 122cm size does call for some room, but that’s also why this umbrella makes sense when a small, tight patch of flash isn’t giving you the coverage you want. For a portrait, position it close to your subject to spread the light over the face and shoulders; for a small group, give it more distance so the light reaches across the people in the frame. The White/Black designation identifies the version you’re choosing, which is handy when keeping your lighting kit organised. I’d recommend it to portrait photographers who want a generous umbrella surface and have enough space to position it properly.
