Falcon Eyes Jumbo Flitsparaplu UR-T86T Diffuse White 216cm
Falcon Eyes Jumbo Flash Umbrella UR-T86T Diffuse White 216cm | Broad, softened flash light
Without a large diffuser, a flash can leave portraits and product photos looking harshly lit. The Falcon Eyes Jumbo UR-T86T gives you a broad white surface to diffuse the flash, making it a practical option for photographers who want softer, more even-looking light. At 216cm, it covers a generous area, so it suits portraits, group shots and larger subjects where a small light modifier may leave uneven illumination. The diffuse white finish is intended to spread the flash rather than add a coloured tint. Use it when you want a simple way to soften direct flash in a studio or another controlled space. Its size does ask for room to work, so it’s best suited to setups where you can position the umbrella without crowding your subject or workspace.
Using the umbrella
For a portrait, place the umbrella between the flash and your subject, then bring it closer for softer, more enveloping light. For a small product, adjust its position until the light spreads across the object without leaving a bright, hard-edged patch. The large surface can help cover a wider scene, though the result still depends on where you place the flash and umbrella. It’s a straightforward light-shaping tool: the umbrella changes the character of the flash, while you control the look by moving it around the subject.
Specialist Note
Its 216cm span takes up real space, so I wouldn’t choose this for a cramped corner or a setup that needs to pack away between every frame. But when you have room, that size is exactly why this umbrella makes sense: it gives the flash a much broader surface to work through. The diffuse white fabric keeps the light neutral, which is handy for portraits where you want gentle illumination without a coloured cast. I’d position it close to a seated subject for a softer portrait, or angle it across a tabletop to spread light over a larger product. Allow enough room to place and adjust it comfortably.
