Falcon Eyes Professional Boomarm + Tripod + Wate
Falcon Eyes Professional Boomarm + Tripod + Wate | A boom arm and tripod for lamp positioning
Falcon Eyes Professional Boomarm + Tripod + Wate is a black boom-arm-and-tripod product for photographers who need to position a lamp as part of a supported lighting setup. It suits home studios, small workspaces and anyone arranging light for tabletop subjects, portraits or product photographs. The most distinctive point is the combination named in the product: a boom arm together with a tripod. That gives you a stand-based starting point when you want to place a lamp to the side of a subject rather than directly in front of it. It’s worth considering when the position of your light matters more than adding another handheld accessory to your kit. Use it to plan where the lamp should sit in relation to your subject and camera, then arrange the setup around that position. Its black finish keeps the appearance understated in a studio.
Planning your lighting setup
Start by choosing the direction you want the light to come from. For a tabletop product photograph, a lamp placed off to one side can create visible shape and shadow; for a portrait, shifting the lamp away from the camera axis can change how the face is lit. The boom arm and tripod give you a support arrangement to work from, but the right placement still depends on your subject and the look you want. Keep the camera position and the lamp position in mind together as you set up.
Specialist Note
Positioning starts with the boom arm, while the tripod is the support alongside it; that makes this a practical format to consider when you want a lamp off to one side of your subject. The product name gives you two useful cues: a boom arm for reaching into a lighting position, and a tripod for supporting the arrangement. For a small product scene, try placing the lamp to the side and slightly above the subject, then adjust its angle until the surface detail reads clearly. The black finish is a quiet choice for a studio setup. I’d keep expectations focused on the support arrangement itself; no reach or load figures are provided here to guide heavier setups.
