Freewell Glow Mist 1/4 Filter (Exclusively) For Threaded VND/CPL 77mm
Freewell Glow Mist 1/4 Filter (Exclusively) For Threaded VND/CPL 77mm | Add a gentle glow to your images
What sets this filter apart is its specific role: it’s a Glow Mist 1/4 filter made exclusively for threaded VND/CPL filters measuring 77mm. That makes it relevant if you already use that type and size of filter and want to add a softened, glowing look to your images. The 1/4 strength gives you a defined starting point for the effect, while the Glow Mist character is suited to work where highlights should feel less crisp and more atmospheric. Think portraits with bright light in the frame, or video scenes where you want a gentler rendering of practical lights. It’s a specialist add-on rather than a general-purpose filter for any setup. If your workflow already centres on a 77mm threaded VND/CPL, this is the version to consider; its stated fit is deliberately narrow, so the key is matching that exact filter type and size.
Specialist Note
The Freewell Glow Mist 1/4 is for adding a gentle glow to footage or portraits made with a threaded VND/CPL. The 1/4 strength gives you a specific level to work from, so it’s a considered option when you want softer-looking highlights without choosing a stronger grade by name. Its 77mm designation matters just as much: this one is exclusively for threaded VND/CPL filters in that size, not a general filter for every 77mm setup. I’d look at it for portraits with bright points of light, or for video where you want lamps to feel softer in the image. Keep in mind that its exclusive fit is also its limitation; it suits that particular filter setup.
