Freewell Osmo Pocket 4p ND1000 Filter - White
Freewell Osmo Pocket 4p ND1000 Filter - White | Control bright light
The defining choice here is the ND1000 density: it cuts a great deal of light, giving Osmo Pocket 4p users more room to choose a slower shutter in bright conditions. That’s useful when you want moving water, traffic or other motion to blur rather than appear frozen in a video. This filter suits Pocket owners who want that deliberate motion effect outdoors, especially in strong daylight, rather than a filter they’ll leave on for every scene. The ND1000 strength is also its limitation: it’s a specialised option for very bright situations, and can be too dark when the light is already low. The white version gives you a visible colour cue when sorting your filters, while the density is what changes how much light reaches the camera. Choose it for a specific exposure effect, not as an all-purpose everyday filter.
Specialist Note
Osmo Pocket 4p users filming bright streets or flowing water are the people I’d point toward this filter. ND1000 is a strong density, so use it when you want to work with a deliberately slower shutter and make movement look smooth; it’s not the one I’d leave on as daylight fades. The white finish is handy as a quick visual identifier if you keep filters together, but it doesn’t change the exposure effect. My honest advice is to treat this as a specific tool for bright scenes: if you need to keep motion crisp, the heavy light reduction may not suit the look you’re after.
