Fuji Instax Link Wide 2 Blue

Fuji Instax Link Wide 2 Blue | Turn phone photos into wide prints

Fuji Instax Link Wide 2 Blue prints smartphone photos on instax WIDE film, with an image area of 62 × 99 mm. It’s a portable printer for anyone who prefers a larger instant print to a photo that stays on a screen. Send images over Bluetooth and make a physical copy in about 14 seconds—handy for sharing holiday snaps around a table, adding pictures to a travel journal or leaving a photo with a friend. The app also offers QR Print modes, so a print can carry a link, location, audio message or hidden note alongside the image. For a different kind of keepsake, Video Print picks a still frame from a clip and puts it on film. The wide format gives people and places more space in the frame than a small instant print, while the choice of colour rendering and in-app edits lets you make the result your own. One detail to plan for: the printer uses instax WIDE film, which is separate from the printer itself.

What it does

• Two colour looks: Choose instax-Rich for stronger, more saturated colour or instax-Natural for gentler, classic film tones. It’s a quick way to set the feel of a print before sending it.
• OLED exposure system: The printer exposes the film using three-colour OLED technology. Output is 800 × 1260 pixels at 318 dpi, with 256 gradations per RGB channel.
• Editing in the app: Crop photos, apply colour filters, make collages or add text before printing. More than 1,600 stickers and emoji are available for adding a personal touch.
• Photo Mixer: Build a postcard-style collage from multiple images and remix it up to five times. It’s a handy option for combining several moments into one print.
• QR Print modes: Add a scannable QR code linked to audio, a web link, a location, a hidden message, a collage or stickers. That gives a printed photo a second layer of information to share.
• Video Print: Select a still image from a recorded video and print it as a WIDE photo. It’s useful for keeping a moment that was captured as a clip.
• Broad file support: Send JPEG, PNG, HEIF and DNG image files from a smartphone through the app. Bluetooth 5.1 handles the wireless connection to the printer.

Good to know

The matte-finish printer measures 139.9 × 128.3 × 36 mm and weighs 357 g without a film cassette, so it fits into a bag for outings. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery is rated for around 100 prints per full charge. Charging through USB-C takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. An automatic power-off function activates after five minutes of inactivity; this feature can be switched off.
