Godox LP400BI Black Litemons Bi Colour LED Panel Light 40WS

Godox LP400BI Black Litemons Bi Colour LED Panel Light 40WS | Bi-colour light for considered studio setups

The LP400BI uses a panel-light design, giving you a broad light source in a single unit rather than a small point of light. Godox has paired that format with bi-colour output, so it suits photographers and video makers who want to shape the look of a scene with a panel and choose between two colour types. It’s a practical direction for portrait work, product scenes and other controlled setups where the character of the light matters. The black Litemons panel is best understood as a focused studio tool: useful when you’re building a setup around a particular subject, rather than looking for an all-purpose description of a whole lighting kit. Its name also identifies it as a 40WS model. That gives you a clear reference when comparing it with other lights in the same range. The honest point is that the title gives the broad purpose, not the fine detail of how you’ll rig or shape it.

Choosing the LP400BI for your setup

A panel light makes sense when you want a defined light source that can be positioned as part of a studio scene. With a bi-colour model, the colour character is part of that decision too; it can help you work toward the look you have in mind without treating every setup as though it needs the same light. That’s particularly relevant when you’re making deliberate choices for a portrait or a product image, where small changes in lighting can affect the way the subject reads.

The LP400BI is a named Godox Litemons model, so it’s straightforward to identify when planning a lighting arrangement or discussing a particular light with your team. Its black finish and 40WS designation are also useful identifiers when you’re comparing the product title with your studio notes. Keep your choice grounded in the job at hand: this is an LED panel light with a bi-colour designation, not a claim about every accessory or setup need. If that combination matches the way you light, the LP400BI gives you a specific model to consider.
