Godox ml CFL5 Silicone Fresnel Lens For ml Series
Godox ML-CFL5 Silicone Fresnel Lens for ML Series | Direct light with more focus
Direct light where you want it and create a more focused patch of illumination for a subject or background. The Godox ML-CFL5 Silicone Fresnel Lens is a light-shaping accessory made for the ML series, with a Fresnel lens and silicone construction. It’s for ML-series light owners who want more control over where their light falls, whether they’re adding a highlight to a product or bringing a small area of a set forward. A Fresnel optic directs light, making it useful when a broad spread isn’t the look you’re after. You can adjust the position and aim of the light to place that brighter area where it helps the scene. The CFL5 gives you an optical accessory for shaping your ML-series light; it isn’t a light source on its own.
Specialist Note
Light spilling across the whole scene can make it tricky to give one detail its own emphasis. The CFL5 is a Fresnel lens for Godox’s ML series, so I’d use it when you want to direct the light rather than simply add more illumination. For a product shot, aim the ML light across an edge to bring out a highlight; for a background accent, point it at the area you want to draw attention to and adjust the light’s position. The silicone construction is worth handling with care: treat it as an optical accessory, not something to crease or crush in a kit bag. It suits ML-series users who want a more directed lighting effect, and it needs an ML-series light to do that job.
