GREEN.L 62mm HMC ND Fader Variable
GREEN.L 62mm HMC ND Fader Variable | Adjustable light control
Control bright light and keep the look you want, from video with a chosen shutter speed to stills made at a wider aperture. The GREEN.L 62mm HMC ND Fader Variable is a variable neutral-density filter: its adjustable ND effect gives you a way to reduce the light reaching the camera without changing your framing. It suits photographers and filmmakers who want to manage exposure as the light changes, especially outdoors, where changing your camera settings may alter the motion or depth-of-field effect you’re after. The 62mm size is the key fit detail: it’s intended for a lens with a matching 62mm filter fitting. Use the variable control to find an exposure that works for the scene, rather than treating the filter as a fixed-strength ND. That makes it a practical option when you want room to adjust, though it doesn’t decide your shutter speed or aperture for you.
Specialist Note
Strong daylight can push you away from the shutter speed or aperture you wanted; this fader gives you another way to manage that light. Its variable ND effect is handy for outdoor video when you want to keep your chosen shutter speed, and for portraits when you’d like to retain a wider aperture in brighter conditions. Adjust the filter until the exposure sits where you need it. The 62mm size matters at the counter: it’s for a lens with a matching 62mm filter fitting, so it’s best suited to someone who already knows that size is right for their lens. It won’t set exposure for you, but it gives you adjustable control over the light.
