H&Y HD EVO ND3-1000+CPL Filter Kit 49mm
H&Y HD EVO ND3-1000+CPL Filter Kit 49mm | Control light and reflections
Bright daylight can make it difficult to choose a slower shutter speed, while reflections on water or glass may distract from the subject. The H&Y HD EVO ND3-1000+CPL Filter Kit combines an ND filter and a CPL (circular polarizing) filter in a 49mm size, giving you two ways to shape the light reaching your lens. It’s suited to photographers who want to manage exposure and reflected glare in the same filter kit, particularly for outdoor scenes with water, glass or strong daylight. Use the ND part when you want to reduce light for a slower shutter speed; use the CPL when you want to control reflections. The product name specifies ND3-1000, but doesn’t define the scale, so I’d avoid assuming a particular exposure range from that label alone. It’s a focused kit for light and reflection control, rather than a general-purpose accessory bundle.
Specialist Note
Harsh light and distracting reflections can get in the way of the picture you want; this kit addresses both, without asking you to choose between ND and polarizing control. The 49mm size is the key practical detail: it suits a lens that takes 49mm filters, so check the filter thread marking on the lens itself. For a bright waterside scene, use the ND filter to allow a slower shutter speed and soften the movement of water; for a shop window or lake surface, use the CPL to reduce reflected glare and make what’s behind it easier to see. I’d recommend it to someone who regularly photographs outdoors and wants both tools in one kit. One caveat: the ND3-1000 name doesn’t tell me the exact exposure steps, so I wouldn’t plan a precise shutter-speed change from the label alone.
