H&Y K-Series Holder MkIII + CPL 95mm + Swift Adapter | Manage reflections with a coordinated filter setup

Reflections on water or glass can be distracting in a photograph; a circular polariser gives you a way to reduce them and shape how they appear. This set brings together an H&Y K-Series Holder MkIII, a 95mm CPL and a Swift Adapter, for photographers who want a holder-based filter setup rather than a polariser alone. It’s particularly relevant for landscape and architectural work, where reflective surfaces can compete with the subject. A polariser can also deepen the appearance of a blue sky, though the result depends on your shooting angle and conditions. The useful point here is that the holder, polariser and adapter are named together as one product, so you can consider the complete combination rather than selecting those parts separately. If controlling reflections is the main reason you’re adding a filter, the CPL is the part of this set to pay attention to.

Specialist Note

First-time polariser buyers often expect the filter to remove every reflection automatically; the effect depends on how you position the camera, so treat it as a control, not an on/off fix. The 95mm CPL is the key detail here: it gives you a polariser in this holder set, and turning a CPL while framing lets you judge how much reflection reduction suits the scene. The K-Series Holder MkIII makes this a holder-based setup, while the Swift Adapter is part of the same named combination. I’d consider it for photographing reflections in shop windows or water, adjusting the polariser as you compose. It won’t erase every reflection, so it pairs best with a considered camera angle.
