Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 1.5 M 75 DB White

Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug to Coax-Coupling 1.5 m 75 dB | Connect antenna equipment across a short run

Connect an antenna outlet to a nearby device with the Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug to Coax-Coupling 1.5 m 75 dB. Its coax plug and coax coupling give you a connection between those two connector types, while the 1.5-metre length suits a short run where the equipment is close to the outlet. That can help keep an antenna connection direct, without leaving a long spare length of cable to manage. The cable is white, so it’s relatively unobtrusive against a light wall or skirting board. The 75 dB figure is part of the product specification; it’s best treated as a stated value, rather than a promise that every setup will produce a particular reception result. A practical detail to keep in mind: 1.5 metres is a compact reach, so it pays to think about the cable’s route before you settle the equipment in place.

Choosing the right cable length

Measure the route between the antenna connection and the device’s connection, allowing for the way the cable needs to travel around furniture or along a wall. A straight-line measurement may not reflect the path you’ll actually use. This cable is intended for a short connection; if your chosen route is longer than 1.5 metres, it won’t reach. Also check that the two connection ends match the sockets you need to join: this cable has a coax plug at one end and a coax coupling at the other. Those details are the useful starting point when deciding if it suits your setup. There’s no need to buy extra length for a connection that sits nearby, but a close fit is easier to judge with the route measured first.
