Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 10.0 M 90dB

Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 10.0 M 90dB | Reach a more flexible setup

Without a longer lead, your television or antenna equipment has to sit close to the antenna connection. This Hama antenna cable gives you more room to arrange your setup: it’s 10.0 metres long, with a coax plug at one end and a coax coupling at the other. The cable is white, and its title carries a 90 dB figure. It suits anyone who needs to bridge a greater distance between an antenna connection and equipment with a coax connection, rather than rearranging the room around a short cable. The extra reach is the main reason to choose it. One honest point: a long cable can be awkward to route if you haven’t planned the path, so measure along the route you’ll actually use, including around furniture, rather than just across the room.

Planning the cable run

Before settling on a route, look at where the cable needs to begin and end, then consider how it will pass the edges of furniture and doorways. That gives you a more realistic sense of the reach you need and helps avoid leaving a loose loop in a walking area. Keep the cable path as simple as the room allows; a tidy run is easier to live with and easier to adjust later. The coax plug-to-coupling arrangement is the detail to match to the connections at the two ends of your setup. This is a straightforward cable for extending the distance between those points, not a reason to move equipment or change the room layout. If you already know where both ends will go, you can judge whether its length makes sense for your space.
