Hama DAB+-Wire Antenna 1.75 M

Hama DAB+-Wire Antenna 1.75 M | A simple wire antenna for DAB+ radio

For receiving DAB+ digital radio at home, a wire antenna gives you a straightforward way to set up an aerial without adding a bulky piece of equipment. The Hama DAB+-Wire Antenna 1.75 M is a DAB+ wire antenna with a length of 1.75 metres, suited to listeners looking for a simple antenna for a DAB+ radio setup. Its wire format leaves room to position it separately from the radio, which can be helpful when you’re working out where reception is best. That’s the practical point: you can try a few placements rather than assume the spot beside the radio is the right one. Reception can depend on where the antenna sits, so a little adjustment may be part of getting it positioned. It’s a plain, focused option for a specific job: DAB+ radio reception.

A straightforward fit for a radio setup

This antenna makes sense if you want a wire-style aerial for listening to DAB+ broadcasts and don’t need an elaborate antenna arrangement. The 1.75-metre length gives you some scope to place the wire away from the radio itself; the best position will depend on the room and reception where you live. Try moving it and listening for a change rather than expecting one placement to suit every room. That’s an ordinary part of setting up an antenna, not a fault with the radio. The supplied colour is white, a simple detail to consider if the wire will be visible against your wall or furnishings. The product name identifies its intended use as a DAB+ antenna, so it’s aimed at that kind of digital radio listening. If that’s what you need, this Hama model keeps the choice uncomplicated: a white wire antenna, 1.75 metres long, for a DAB+ setup.
