Hama Network Cable CAT-6 F/UTP Afgeschermd 20.00 Meter

Hama CAT-6 F/UTP Shielded Network Cable 20 m | Reach network points farther apart

Without a cable with enough reach, network equipment may have to stay close to its existing connection point. This Hama network cable gives you a 20-metre run, so you can route a wired network connection to a point farther away. It’s suited to home or work setups where the existing cable is simply too short for the layout. The CAT-6 F/UTP shielded design is the key detail for shoppers looking for this particular cable type; it’s a practical, straightforward option when you need that specification and the extra length. Plan the route before you start, especially if the cable needs to follow walls or pass around furniture. A longer cable can make placement easier, but it still needs a sensible path. There’s no mystery to this product: it’s a network cable for a longer connection run.

Planning the cable route

Think about where the cable will start and where it needs to end, then trace the route between those points. Measuring along the route, rather than in a straight line across the room, helps you judge whether the cable will reach without being pulled tight. If the path turns around furniture or follows the edge of a room, allow for those bends when planning placement. The grey colour is a low-key option where the cable is visible, though it won’t disappear against every surface. Keep the run tidy and out of places where it could be snagged or walked on. That bit of planning makes a long cable easier to live with once it’s in place.
