Hama Sat-Aansluitkabel F-Plug - F-Plug Gold Plated 10.0 M 120 DB

Hama Sat-Aansluitkabel F-Plug - F-Plug Gold Plated 10.0 M 120 DB | A direct link for satellite connections

The defining design choice is an F-plug at each end, so this cable can make a direct connection between matching F-type sockets in a satellite setup. Hama has made it 10 metres long, giving you some room to route it between the connection points rather than keeping them close together. The connectors are gold plated, and the product title gives a 120 dB figure. This is a straightforward option for someone who needs a satellite connection cable with these particular ends and this length. It suits a setup where the cable run matters as much as the connection type; the number is useful when comparing product listings, though it doesn't by itself tell you how the cable will perform in your own installation. If you already know the route and the sockets you need to join, the key details are easy to judge.

Planning the cable run

Before choosing a cable, it helps to think through the route from one connection point to the other: where it will pass, whether it needs to go around furniture, and how much slack you want at either end. This Hama cable is intended for a satellite connection, so the F-plug format is central to the decision. Its stated length gives you a concrete figure to compare with the route you have in mind. A neat, direct run is often easier to manage than extra cable gathered in a loop, so take a moment to plan where the cable will go. The white finish may also be a consideration when deciding how visible you want the cable to be in the room.
