Ilford GDSRC1M 127.0 X 30m

Ilford GDSRC1M 127.0 X 30m | A long format for photo printing

For photo printing where a long, consistent format suits the job, the Ilford GDSRC1M 127.0 X 30m gives you photo paper listed at 127.0 by 30 metres. That length can help when you’re planning a larger amount of printing in the same format, rather than choosing paper by individual sheet size. It’s a specialist option for photographers and print rooms selecting photo paper by its stated dimensions. The listed measurement is the key detail here: consider whether 127.0 by 30 metres fits the work you have in mind. There’s no need to read more into the name than that. If you’re comparing paper options, this listing gives you a clear format to assess against your print plans.

Making sense of the format

A dimension-led paper choice is practical: start with the size your planned prints require, then decide whether this format makes sense for the quantity you expect to produce. The 30-metre measurement gives you a substantial length to plan around, while 127.0 is the other listed dimension. Those figures are useful when mapping out a print job or comparing formats; the actual number of prints will depend on the size of each print and how the paper is used. I’d treat the dimensions as the first decision point, rather than assuming the paper suits a particular printer or output. Ilford GDSRC1M is identified as photo paper, and its listed colour is black. That’s the available description in brief: a named paper product, a defined format, and a colour.
