Ilford MGFB1K Classic 12.7x17.8cm 100V | A clearly identified photo paper

Ilford MGFB1K Classic 12.7x17.8cm 100V is photo paper identified by its 12.7 x 17.8 cm format, for photographers and printmakers looking for this particular named stock. It’s a straightforward option to consider when the product reference and dimensions match what you need for a print project. The supplier lists its colour as black. That’s a useful detail to have when you’re checking the item against a materials list or an existing paper reference. The name also includes “100V”; I’ve kept that designation as part of the product identification rather than reading more into it. If you already know the paper you’re looking for, the specific name and measurements make this listing easier to distinguish from other photo paper. It’s best suited to shoppers seeking this exact product, rather than anyone choosing between paper finishes or comparing print characteristics.

Choosing by product reference

When you’re buying paper for a particular job, start with the reference you intend to use and make sure the product listing matches it. That’s more dependable than choosing from a broad category alone, especially if you’re replacing a paper you’ve used before or following a prepared materials list. I’d also think about the physical format in relation to the print you plan to make; the paper’s dimensions are part of the selection, not a detail to leave until later. For a first-time purchase, the name gives you a specific item to research or discuss with a print specialist, without asking you to guess at qualities that aren’t established here. This page keeps the focus on the identifiable product details, so you can make your choice on the basis of the stock reference you actually want. If that’s the paper you came looking for, the listing gives you a concise starting point for your decision.
