Ilford OmniJet Studio Satin Photo RC Paper 250gsm 152,4cm x 30m

Ilford OmniJet Studio Satin Photo RC Paper 250gsm 152,4cm x 30m | Wide satin paper for photo printing

The defining choice is the 152.4 cm-wide roll format: it gives print makers a broad, continuous length of photo paper rather than a stack of individual sheets. Ilford’s OmniJet Studio Satin is aimed at people producing photographic prints at wide dimensions, including studios and print rooms working with larger output. Its satin finish is the surface choice, and the title identifies it as RC paper at 250gsm. That makes it most relevant when you’re selecting paper by finish, weight and roll dimensions, rather than looking for a small pack for occasional prints. The 30 m length suits jobs planned as a run, or repeat work where using the same roll format matters. At this width, it’s a substantial roll to plan handling and storage for.

Before choosing a roll, think about the print sizes you expect to make and the space needed to handle the paper during a job. You’ll also want to consider how your workflow deals with cutting and finishing prints; those are practical parts of working with a roll, not extra features of this paper. The straightforward trade-off is that a long roll gives you a sizeable supply, but takes more room to manage than a small pack of sheets. If wide-format photo output is part of your regular work, this format is made for that kind of workflow. If you print only now and then, consider whether a roll of this size fits the way you work. The satin designation tells you the chosen surface, while the paper’s listed weight and dimensions help you assess the format for your intended jobs.
