Indipro Gold Mount Battery Plate w/ 15mm Rod Mount

Indipro Gold Mount Battery Plate w/ 15mm Rod Mount | Mount a Gold Mount battery on 15mm rods

Without a dedicated plate, a Gold Mount battery doesn’t have a named place on a 15mm rod setup. This Indipro plate brings those two parts together: it’s a Gold Mount battery plate with a 15mm rod mount. It suits a camera operator or crew member building a rig around that battery mount and rod size, and it’s best for the specific job of attaching the battery plate to a 15mm rod system. The description is refreshingly direct; the two key details are right there in the name. That makes it easier to narrow down if you’re choosing parts for a particular rig, rather than shopping for a general-purpose power accessory. It’s a focused bit of rig hardware, and its value comes down to whether Gold Mount and 15mm rods are the combination you need.

The mounting job

Think of this as a connection point in your rig, not as a charger or a battery by itself. The plate identifies the battery side as Gold Mount, while the rod mount identifies the rig side as 15mm. That’s the useful distinction when you’re laying out where a battery plate belongs among the other parts of a camera setup. It gives you a straightforward description to match against your build: one battery mount standard, one rod size.

There’s no need to make this sound more complicated than it is. If those are the two interfaces your setup calls for, this Indipro plate is aimed at that mounting task. If your project needs other features beyond the plate and rod mount, choose based on those requirements too. The product name gives a clear starting point for the fit decision, without dressing it up as a broader solution.
