JJC Ultra-Slim MC UV Filter 43mm Black
JJC Ultra-Slim MC UV Filter 43mm Black | A slim UV filter for 43mm lenses
On a bright day outdoors, a UV filter is a straightforward option to keep on a lens when you want it to filter ultraviolet light. The JJC Ultra-Slim MC UV Filter is made for lenses that take a 43mm filter, and its ultra-slim design keeps the filter’s profile low at the front of the lens. It suits photographers who want a simple, dedicated UV filter in this size, whether they’re making landscape photographs in daylight or carrying a camera outside for everyday pictures. The black finish gives the filter a discreet look on the lens. Its name also includes the MC designation; I’d stick to what’s clear from the product itself rather than promise a particular change to image quality. The important practical point is the 43mm size: match that to your lens’s filter size, and you’ll have a UV filter designed for that fit.
Specialist Note
The slim black ring keeps a low profile at the front of your lens, so the filter doesn’t add a bulky-looking rim. For a lens that takes 43mm filters, this is a neat option to leave fitted for outdoor daylight photography when you want UV filtering close at hand. I’d use it for a daylight landscape or a walk with the camera: fit it to the lens with the matching 43mm filter size, then compose as usual. The black finish is visually understated, and the ultra-slim design is the detail that gives this version its appeal. One limitation is simple: the 43mm size is specific, so it won’t fit lenses that take a different filter size.
