Kaiser Filteradapter 37-46
Kaiser Filteradapter 37-46 | Use 46 mm filters on a 37 mm thread
The Kaiser Filteradapter 37-46 adapts a 37 mm lens filter thread to accept a 46 mm filter. It’s built for photographers who have a lens with the smaller thread and want to use a filter they already own in the larger size. That can save you from buying a duplicate filter just for this lens. The adapter’s job is straightforward: it bridges the difference between the two thread sizes, without changing the effect of the filter itself. It suits a simple, practical setup where keeping a preferred filter in use matters more than carrying another size. Fit it between the lens and the filter, and you can use a 46 mm filter on a 37 mm thread. It’s a size-specific solution, so it won’t address a lens or filter with a different thread size. The black finish keeps the adapter visually unobtrusive among your camera accessories.
Specialist Note
At the counter, a photographer is sorting filters before an afternoon by the canal; the lens has a 37 mm thread, and the filter they want to use is 46 mm. That’s where this Kaiser earns its place. I’d recommend it if you’d rather keep using that larger filter than buy another one for the smaller thread. For instance, if it’s a polarizer, fit it and rotate it while checking the reflections in your frame. The adapter’s black colour keeps its appearance understated alongside the lens. Its useful limit is clear: it bridges those two sizes only, so it won’t solve a mismatch involving a different filter thread. For that specific gap, it’s a straightforward piece of kit.
