Kodak Eastman Kodak Ektacolor Pro 800 120 5 Pak

Kodak Eastman Kodak Ektacolor Pro 800 120 5 Pak | 120 film in a multi-pack

Without paying attention to the format and stock name, it’s easy to choose film by a broad category and miss the details that matter to your project. Kodak Eastman Kodak Ektacolor Pro 800 120 5 Pak is a multi-pack of 120 photo film, identified by the Ektacolor Pro 800 name. It suits photographers who have already settled on 120 film and want this particular Kodak product in a pack rather than as a single-item purchase. Its clearest benefit is the combination of a specific format and named stock with a multi-pack designation, giving you useful details to work from when planning a purchase. I’d treat “800” as part of the stock name, rather than assume additional characteristics from the number alone. That keeps the decision grounded in the product’s actual name.

A considered film choice

When choosing film for a project, I’d start with the format you need, then consider whether this is the named stock you want to use. Those are separate decisions, and getting the format right comes first. A multi-pack makes more sense when you’re planning to use the same product over a project than when you simply want to try one item. That’s a practical consideration, not a promise about how your photographs will look. The product name gives you clear identifiers for shopping and planning, but the right film for a particular subject or personal style is your call. If you’ve chosen this stock and need 120 film, the listing identifies the five-pack version directly. It’s a specific purchase for a considered film choice, rather than a general recommendation for every shoot.
