Kodak SD 64GB UHS-II U3 V90 Ultra Pro

Kodak SD 64GB UHS-II U3 V90 Ultra Pro | 64GB SDXC storage with UHS-II, U3 and V90 ratings

Rather than choosing an SD card by capacity alone, it helps to know which format and speed-class labels you need. The Kodak SD 64GB UHS-II U3 V90 Ultra Pro is a 64GB SDXC card, with UHS-II, U3 and V90 in its name. That makes it a specific option for photographers and filmmakers looking for those particular card labels, rather than a basic card identified only by how much it holds. Its 64GB capacity gives you a defined amount of card space to plan around; the UHS-II, U3 and V90 ratings are the other details to weigh when choosing. It’s best suited to someone whose equipment and workflow call for this SDXC format and these ratings. Those labels are the useful starting point here, not a promise about how any individual camera will perform with the card.

Choosing by the card’s labels

Before settling on this card, compare its format and markings with the requirements of your own equipment and the way you plan to work. The product name gives you four concrete details to use: 64GB capacity, SDXC format, UHS-II interface and U3 and V90 speed classes. If those are the labels you’re shopping for, this Kodak model is easy to identify. If you’re deciding between cards, be clear about which of those details matters for your setup; capacity and speed-class markings answer different questions. One honest point: the title alone can’t tell you how many photographs or minutes of footage 64GB will hold, since that depends on the files you create. Treat the capacity as a useful planning figure, not a fixed shoot-length estimate.
