Kondor Blue KB-501ABP 501 Adjustable Baseplate 501 QR Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-501ABP 501 Adjustable Baseplate 501 QR Space Grey | Adjustable positioning for a 501 QR setup
For arranging a camera on a tripod with room to adjust its position, the Kondor Blue KB-501ABP 501 Adjustable Baseplate 501 QR Space Grey is a dedicated tripod accessory with an adjustable baseplate and a 501 QR format. It suits camera operators building a support setup for carefully framed shots, especially when a fixed baseplate would leave too little room to position the camera as needed. The adjustable design lets you make positioning part of the setup rather than treating the plate as a fixed point. Its 501 QR naming also gives you a clear format to plan around when putting together a support arrangement. This is a focused component, not a tripod or a complete camera support system; its role is the adjustable baseplate. If you need to set a specific camera position on a tripod, it’s the kind of part that can make the support setup easier to arrange.
Specialist Note
The adjustable section is the physical detail to pay attention to: it gives you room to place the camera where your framing calls for it, rather than treating the baseplate as a fixed position. I’d consider it for a tripod-based interview or a locked-off product shot, where you can set the camera position before recording and keep the support arrangement consistent. The 501 QR format is the other key point; plan your setup around that named interface rather than assuming this is a universal plate. Its Space Grey finish is a restrained option for a darker rig. It’s a component, so it won’t replace the tripod or other support parts.
