Kondor Blue KB-ARRI-BC ARRI PL Cine Cap Metal Housing Cap

Kondor Blue KB-ARRI-BC ARRI PL Cine Cap Metal Housing Cap | Keeps an ARRI PL opening covered

An uncovered opening is an easy thing to leave exposed between setups. The Kondor Blue KB-ARRI-BC is an ARRI PL cine cap with a metal housing, made to cover that opening when it isn’t in use. It suits camera crews and operators working with ARRI PL cine equipment who want a cap to hand when changing or removing a lens. The job is simple: fit the cap in place when the opening needs to be covered, then remove it when you’re ready to use the setup again. There’s no complicated accessory to manage here, just a dedicated cap for an ARRI PL cine setup. I’d keep it close to the camera during a lens change; small parts are much easier to account for when they have a clear place in the workflow. Its appeal is that direct, specific purpose.

A small part with a clear role

A cap like this is most useful in the pauses: while equipment is being moved, between lens changes, or when an opening is simply not being used. Keeping it nearby means you can cover the opening rather than leave it exposed while work continues elsewhere. That’s a modest job, but it can make handling a cine setup feel more considered. The ARRI PL wording makes the intended system clear, while the metal housing is part of the product’s name and construction description. If you’re sorting a camera kit, it’s the kind of component worth keeping with the equipment it belongs to, rather than loose among unrelated accessories. No grand claims needed; it’s a cap for a specific cine setup.
