Kondor Blue KB-LSL2-BR Leica SL2S/SL2/SL Base Rig MkII Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-LSL2-BR Leica SL2S/SL2/SL Base Rig MkII Space Grey | A tripod rig for three Leica SL bodies
Kondor Blue KB-LSL2-BR Leica SL2S/SL2/SL Base Rig MkII Space Grey is a tripod accessory designated for three Leica SL camera bodies. It’s made for photographers and filmmakers putting an SL2S, SL2 or SL into a tripod-based setup, especially when a repeatable camera position matters more than moving quickly between handheld angles. The model-specific naming is useful when choosing: it ties the rig to the camera family it’s intended for, rather than asking you to guess from a broad product label. That makes it a considered option for locked-off interviews, studio still life and other framed work where you want to settle the composition before recording or making exposures. Space Grey gives the setup a restrained look. This is a focused accessory, not a general-purpose rig for every camera; its clearest appeal is to owners of the three named Leica bodies who want a tripod-oriented working setup.
Specialist Note
The studio is quiet before an interview, and the Leica SL2S is waiting in a fixed frame. For that kind of setup, I’d consider this rig because its name specifies the SL2S, SL2 and SL; you can match it to one of those bodies instead of relying on a vague family label. The Space Grey finish keeps the accessory’s appearance restrained in a working setup. It also suits tabletop still life: settle the composition on the tripod, then keep the camera position consistent between takes. I’d keep the scope in mind, though. The stated fit is these three Leica models, so I wouldn’t assume it suits another body.
