Kondor Blue KB-MVPS-BK Mini V-Mount-Drehgelenk-Kit Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-MVPS-BK Mini V-Mount-Drehgelenk-Kit Raven Black | A compact swivel connection for rigging
A V-mount rig is easier to arrange when its mounting point can pivot to suit the setup. The Kondor Blue KB-MVPS-BK Mini V-Mount-Drehgelenk-Kit is a tripod accessory for that kind of adjustment, aimed at filmmakers and camera operators building a compact rig around V-mount gear. Its swivel-joint design gives you a way to change the position of the mounted setup rather than treating the connection as fixed. That can make a difference when you’re arranging equipment on a tripod and need it to sit at a workable angle. This is a focused piece of rigging hardware, not a general-purpose tripod head. It makes most sense for someone who already knows they need a pivoting V-mount connection in their setup. The Raven Black finish keeps the look restrained alongside other dark rig components.
Specialist Note
The Kondor Blue KB-MVPS-BK is made to give a V-mount setup a compact pivoting connection. I’d consider it for a one-person video rig where you want to reposition mounted gear without rebuilding the whole arrangement: set the joint to the angle that leaves your tripod setup easiest to work around. The “Mini” designation is the useful cue here; this is aimed at a compact build, rather than adding a large support piece. The swivel joint is the key feature, so it suits setups where position matters more than having a fixed connection. It’s a specialised accessory, though—not something to buy unless a V-mount swivel joint is the part your rig actually needs.
A focused rigging addition
Think of this kit as a small part of a larger setup: its value is in the position it lets you create, not in changing what the tripod does. If a fixed connection already places your equipment where you need it, this accessory may not add much to your build. If you need a pivoting point in your V-mount arrangement, that’s the job it’s designed around.
