Kondor Blue KB-MXLR-16-R Mini XLR To XLR For BMPCC 6K Pro/C70 Camera Black 16"
Kondor Blue KB-MXLR-16-R Mini XLR To XLR For BMPCC 6K Pro/C70 Camera Black 16" | A short, direct audio connection
On a compact camera rig, an audio feed can end in an XLR plug while the camera connection is Mini XLR. This 16-inch Kondor Blue cable bridges that gap, connecting XLR to Mini XLR for the BMPCC 6K Pro and C70. Its job is simple: route an XLR-ended audio feed into either camera, with a short cable run between the source and camera. That makes sense when your audio gear sits close by, such as on the same rig or beside a fixed camera position. The black finish keeps the cable visually subdued against a dark setup. The short reach is also the main thing to plan around: if your audio source needs to sit farther away, this cable won’t span that distance by itself. It’s a focused camera connection, rather than a long run across a room or set.
Specialist Note
This cable gives an XLR-ended audio feed a direct link to the Mini XLR connection on a BMPCC 6K Pro or C70. I’d use it when the audio source can stay close to the camera: connect the XLR end to the feed and route the short lead to the camera input. At 16 inches, it suits a compact rig or a fixed camera with nearby audio gear, but it won’t give you room to place the source several steps away. The black finish is a sensible detail on a dark camera build, where a bright cable would draw the eye. For a setup that needs more distance, plan a longer cable run as well.
