Laowa 24mm F/14 PP Front Lens Cap For Rechte Tube (Lao-LC2414P-DV)

Laowa 24mm F/14 PP Front Lens Cap For Rechte Tube | Covers the straight-tube lens front

The Laowa 24mm F/14 PP Front Lens Cap For Rechte Tube is a front cap for the straight-tube version of Laowa’s 24mm f/14 lens. It’s for photographers who use that lens for subjects such as architecture, landscapes or street scenes and want a cap for the front when the lens isn’t in use. The lens itself is a manual-focus wide-angle prime, so it suits deliberate framing and focusing rather than quick automatic operation. This is an accessory for that specific straight-tube lens, not an alternative way to shoot or a different optical component. Its role is simple: cover the lens front between photographs, then remove it when you’re ready to compose. If you’re choosing it for a different tube version, the product name points specifically to the straight tube; the distinction matters when selecting a cap.

For use between photographs

Keep the cap on while the lens is put away, then take it off before composing. Once it’s removed, the lens’s 24mm focal length gives you a wide-angle view for subjects including buildings and street scenes. The f/14 maximum aperture is part of the lens’s specification, not a setting or feature of the cap. This page is for the front cap named for the straight-tube version; it doesn’t describe a complete lens or add any shooting functions.
