Meike MK EFTR CL Drop In Filter Lens Adapter For EF/EF S Lenses To Canon R Mount
Meike MK EFTR CL Drop In Filter Lens Adapter For EF/EF-S Lenses To Canon R Mount | Use EF and EF-S lenses with drop-in filters
Want to use EF or EF-S lenses on a Canon R mount camera, but also work with a drop-in filter? This Meike adapter brings those two needs together: it adapts the lens mount and has a drop-in filter design. It suits photographers and filmmakers building a Canon R setup around EF or EF-S lenses, especially if they want filter placement at the adapter rather than arranging a filter at the front of each lens. That can make for a more consistent filter workflow when switching between lenses, provided you have a suitable drop-in filter. It’s a specific piece of kit for a specific job, not a general-purpose lens accessory. If your aim is to connect an EF or EF-S lens to a Canon R mount and use a drop-in filter arrangement, this is the role it’s designed to fill.
Specialist Note
For a two-lens kit—one EF lens and one EF-S lens—I’d consider this adapter when moving those lenses into a Canon R setup and keeping filter use at the adapter. The EF and EF-S compatibility gives you a route for both lens types, so you can plan around the lenses you already own rather than treating them as separate mount problems. Its drop-in filter design is handy when you want a filter in the adapter position as you change lenses; use a drop-in filter suited to the effect you need. One practical limit: the adapter doesn’t choose the filter for you, so think about the filter itself as well as the mount change.
