Mofage Interchangeable Mount
Mofage Interchangeable Mount (Z-mount) | Add Nikon Z to your POCO setup
Between setups, a Nikon Z camera needs the right connection to join a POCO filter-adapter system. The Mofage Interchangeable Mount (Z-mount) is the camera-side fitting that connects a Nikon Z camera to the Mofage POCO adapter. Instead of replacing the whole POCO unit for another camera body in your kit, you can keep a compatible mount for each setup and swap mounts between shoots. The POCO adapter functions as a PL-mount adapter and as a holder for drop-in lens filters, which are sold separately. That combination is particularly relevant to cinema work: use the mount to connect a Nikon Z camera to the POCO system, then use the adapter for a PL-mount lens setup or to change filters between shots. This is a specific connection component, not the complete POCO adapter or a filter.
Mount and filter workflow
- Nikon Z camera connection: This mount links a Nikon Z camera to the Mofage POCO adapter. It provides the camera-side fit for using that adapter with a Nikon Z body.
- Interchangeable fitting: The mount can be changed between shoots, so the POCO system can be set up with the appropriate camera-side mount for a given setup.
- Works with the POCO adapter: POCO is a separate Mofage product. This item is the mount for connecting a Nikon Z camera to that adapter, not the adapter itself.
- PL-mount adapter function: The POCO adapter also serves as a PL-mount adapter. That makes the mount relevant to a Nikon Z camera setup using the POCO system for PL-mount lenses.
- Filter support through POCO: The POCO adapter accepts drop-in lens filters and serves as a quick-change filter frame. Filters are sold separately, so this mount does not include them.
Specialist Note
The Z-mount fitting is the key physical detail here: it’s the part that connects your Nikon Z camera to the POCO adapter, rather than a complete adapter on its own. I’d consider this mount when a Nikon Z body needs to join a POCO-based cinema setup, especially one using the POCO unit for PL-mount lenses or drop-in filtration. Keep the POCO adapter as the central piece, then swap the camera-side mount between shoots as your setup changes. One point to plan for: the POCO adapter and the filters are separate purchases. This mount is a focused add-on for that system, not a standalone filter solution.
