Mofage Interchangeable Mount
Mofage Interchangeable Mount: connect Nikon Z cameras to POCO
The interchangeable mount is the defining choice here: add a Nikon Z mount to your POCO setup, then swap mounts rather than buying a separate POCO adapter for every camera. The Mofage Interchangeable Mount (Z-mount) connects a Nikon Z camera to the Mofage POCO adapter, a drop-in filter adapter made for cinema work. That arrangement is useful when you’re moving between camera bodies during a production, or building a kit that needs different camera mounts available between setups. The POCO adapter also serves as a PL mount adapter and a quick-change frame for compatible drop-in filters, which are sold separately. So this small component has a specific job: it links Nikon Z to the POCO system while keeping the shared adapter and filter workflow in place. It’s a silver-finished, interchangeable mount, sold on its own.
Where this mount fits
- Nikon Z connection: This mount links a Nikon Z camera to the Mofage POCO adapter. It’s the part to add when Nikon Z is one of the camera systems in your POCO kit.
- Interchangeable setup: The POCO adapter can be shared, with additional mounts used for other cameras in your kit. That means you can change the camera-side mount between setups instead of assigning a separate POCO adapter to each body.
- Drop-in filter system: POCO is a drop-in filter adapter, and its frame accepts the system’s filters. Filters are sold separately, so this mount is the camera connection rather than a filter bundle.
- PL adapter role: The POCO adapter also functions as a PL mount adapter. This Mofage part provides the Nikon Z connection to that adapter system.
- Silver finish: The mount has a silver finish, matching the supplied product description and making it easy to identify among your interchangeable mounts.
Specialist Note
A cinema rig is being reset between setups, and the Nikon Z body is next in the rotation. I like the logic of keeping one POCO adapter as the shared base: the number is one, with extra camera mounts added for the other bodies in your kit. For a crew working across camera systems, that means changing the mount at the setup change instead of setting aside a complete POCO adapter for each camera. The useful pairing is clear: this Z-mount needs the POCO adapter, and the drop-in filters are separate purchases. It’s a focused component, not a standalone filter solution.
