Nedis Balanced Audiocbl 2X (2X 0.16MM²) 100m Rol GY

Nedis Balanced Audiocbl 2X (2X 0.16MM²) 100m Rol GY | A 100-metre roll for balanced audio wiring

Planning an audio installation can get awkward when you need cable by the metre rather than a ready-made short lead. This Nedis balanced audio cable comes as a 100 m roll, giving you cable for a longer wiring job or several runs. It’s aimed at anyone putting together balanced audio cabling and who wants to plan the lengths around the installation rather than work from a fixed lead length. The cable has two conductors, each with a cross-section of 0.16 mm², and its colour is grey. That’s the useful information to start with when you’re estimating a job: the cable type, conductor size and available roll length. It’s a straightforward option for balanced audio wiring; the honest point is that choosing the right length still depends on the route you need to cover.

For a tidy installation, work out the cable route before you start and note the length needed for each run. A simple route plan can help you estimate how much cable to set aside and keep track of where each run is intended to go. If you’re doing several runs, mark them on the plan as you measure; it’s easier to spot an overlooked section on paper than partway through the job. The 100 m roll format gives you a single length to work from, while the listed conductor size lets you compare it with the requirements you’ve set for your installation. This is a practical cable to consider when balanced audio wiring is the task at hand and you want to plan the work around your own layout.
