Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 10.0m Round LSZH Grey Label

Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 10.0m Round LSZH Grey Label | A 10-metre wired link for longer routes

Without a cable that reaches between your network points, you’re left trying to place devices close together or find another route for the connection. This Nedis network cable gives you a 10-metre run between two RJ45 male connectors, for a wired link where the sockets aren’t side by side. It’s suited to home or workplace setups where a cable connection is wanted and the route needs more reach than a short lead can offer. The cable is round and grey, details worth considering if it will run along a visible wall or floor. Its CAT 8.1 designation identifies the cable category; this description makes no claim about the speed you’ll get, which depends on the connected equipment and network. A practical pick when you need length and matching RJ45 ends, without adding a hub or other device to the link.

Plan the cable route

Before setting up a wired connection, measure the path the cable will actually take. A route around furniture, along a wall or past a doorway can be longer than the straight-line distance between the two network points. Leave room for the path you’ve chosen rather than pulling the cable taut; that makes placement easier and avoids having to rethink the route after you’ve connected it. The grey finish may blend in with some surroundings and be more noticeable against others, so it’s useful to picture where the cable will sit before you run it. This is a straightforward cable for a direct RJ45-to-RJ45 connection: choose it when the distance is the main consideration, and plan where the run will go.
