Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 20.0m Round LSZH White Label

Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 20.0m Round LSZH White Label | 20 metres of RJ45 reach for longer network runs

A network cable that falls short can dictate where your equipment has to sit. This Nedis cable gives you a 20-metre run, so you have more room to connect devices without keeping them close together. It has an RJ45 male connector at each end and is identified as CAT 8.1. The cable is round, LSZH and white. It suits a setup where you need a longer cable run between equipment with RJ45 connections, such as across a room or along a planned route. The 20-metre length is the main practical advantage: you can work around the layout of the space rather than choosing a position based on a short lead. Its white finish may be easier to see against some walls and floors, so consider the route before laying it. This is a straightforward cable for a longer network connection; the title gives no basis for promising a particular transfer speed or performance in your setup.

Plan the cable run

Measure the route you intend to take, rather than the straight-line distance between the two devices. Allow for the path around furniture or along the edge of a room, and decide where the cable will enter and leave the space. That helps you judge whether 20 metres suits the run and avoid pulling the cable taut. If the route changes later, a clearly planned path also makes it easier to trace the cable and keep it separate from walkways. The round shape is worth bearing in mind when choosing where it will sit; plan the route before connecting both ends.
